AFLP(Amplified fragment length polymorphism)

Today i read abt AFLP. So it is advanced DNA fingerprinting tech. Actually at my PG time im not able to fully understand this tech., but now when im studying for NET exam i got it little bit .
Their is DNA present in cell, so this DNA first of all get cut down or digested by restriction enymes . The restriction enzymes are which having ability to cut down DNA at specific site. So due to that their is production of sticky ends carried out. This sticky ends having ability to ligate the adaptive site. When DNA get fragmented ,their is then amplification of selected fragment carried out. After that amplyfied segments are analysed by gel electophoresis
